Play Therapy Indonesia Conference 2025 bertujuan untuk menjadi wadah bagi semua terapis bermain dan profesional kesehatan mental di seluruh Indonesia. Konferensi kali ini akan memperkaya para praktisi untuk “Mendalami Pengetahuan” melalui penelitian dari beragam perspektif teoritis, mendorong “Menumbuhkan Praktik” melalui workshop pengembangan keterampilan praktis, dan “Memperkuat Koneksi” dengan memfasilitasi jaringan dan kolaborasi dalam lanskap terapi bermain Indonesia.
Kali ini konferensi akan diadakan di Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta adalah jantung budaya Jawa, yang kaya akan tradisi dan sejarah. Gracia is a certified Play Therapist and Supervisor in Creative Arts and Therapy arround 10 years of experience.
Gracia has been practicing the Play Therapy in Semarang, Central Java, with her own private practice center that provides Counselling and Play Therapy for children to adults, as well as being a supervisor for the trainee play therapists from some parts of Indonesia. Besides that, Gracia also has certification on Group Therapy Facilitator(Sacramento Centre of Psychotherapy), and currently enrolled Master in Practice Based Play therapy, UK.
I began my journey as a school teacher with a deep interest in children’s mental health, which led me to pursue certifications in Play Therapy and Clinical Supervision from Play Therapy International beginning in 2015. In 2023, I started exploring Touch for Health (kinesiology approach) as a second professional path. Although these two approaches come from different traditions, I found a meaningful alignment between them—both grounded in the principles of balance, body awareness, and inner empowerment. Today, I continue to practice as a play therapist while also teaching TFH classes as a registered instructor and consultant, allowing both paths to enrich and complement each other.

Sinopsis: This experiential workshop explores how nonjudgmental artmaking can deepen self-awareness, reduce creative anxiety, and empower individuals to express themselves freely. Many people hold internalized beliefs that they are “not good at art,” limiting their confidence and emotional expression. This session challenges such narratives by integrating Axline’s non-directive approach, concepts of identity, the Expressive Therapies Continuum (ETC) model, and Vygotsky’s sociocultural theory.
The first part focuses on identity, introducing the Johari Window model to explore the open, hidden, blind, and unknown parts of the self through artmaking. Participants will engage in activities that honor process over product, supporting self-exploration and reflection.
The mid-session introduces the ETC model to help participants observe and understand the art-making process and understand how it informs emotional and cognitive integration.
The final part focuses on Vygotsky’s theory, exploring the role of social interaction and scaffolding in supporting clients’ creative processes.
Participants will leave with practical tools to facilitate nonjudgmental creative sessions in their own settings, as well as personal insights into their identities and emotional processes. This workshop is suitable for therapists and students (certificate and diploma levels) seeking to integrate art as a means for authentic expression and emotional integration. No prior art experience is required; all are welcome.

Sinopsis:
This 3.5-hour interactive workshop is designed for play therapists and filial play coach practitioners who want to strengthen their ability to engage parents as active, informed partners in their child’s therapeutic journey. Grounded in neuroscience, participants will explore how brain systems, nervous system states, and the SCARF model influence communication, connection, and collaboration.
The first segment focuses on self-awareness, helping practitioners recognize and reflect on their own triggers that may arise in parent interactions, and understand how these affect attunement and professionalism. Using the SCARF model and neurobiology framework, participants will learn to identify when their own brain and body responses may be influencing the therapeutic relationship.
The second segment equips participants with practical communication strategies for educating parents about the neuroscience of attachment, co-regulation, and child behaviour. By translating complex brain science into clear, relatable concepts, practitioners can help parents better understand their child’s needs, behaviour, and pathways to growth.
Finally, the workshop addresses goal clarity and expectation-setting, guiding practitioners in creating and communicating therapeutic objectives that are realistic, measurable, and meaningful. Participants will develop skills to align parent understanding with the therapeutic process, fostering trust, cooperation, and shared commitment to the child’s progress.
Through a blend of presentations, experiential activities, and practical tools, attendees will leave with greater confidence, deeper insight, and actionable strategies to connect with parents, navigate challenging conversations, and strengthen the bonds that support positive change for children.

Sinopsis: Workshop ini membekali terapis dengan keterampilan praktis untuk membangun kepercayaan dan hubungan yang bermakna dengan anak-anak dalam spektrum autisme melalui terapi bermain. Peserta akan mengeksplorasi prinsip-prinsip penyelarasan (attunement), mempelajari cara menyesuaikan terapi bermain untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sensorik dan komunikasi yang beragam, serta memperoleh strategi untuk membina hubungan terapeutik yang aman dan suportif. Penekanan akan diberikan pada praktik yang berbasis bukti dan contoh kasus nyata untuk menjembatani teori dan praktik.
